The mission of Harbor Assembly of God is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
The Vision
The vision of Harbor Assembly of God is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.
We Purpose To
- Establish ministries to influence and win children, youth and adults to Christ.
- Respond to the needy in the community as a means of love and witness.
- Involve everyone as active participants in corporate worship.
- Design worship experiences meaningful to all age groups.
- Plan regular observance of communion and water baptism.
- Present inspirational music in a variety of forms that are an appropriate part of corporate praise and worship.
- Involve everyone in consistent and relevant Bible learning.
- Design learning experiences that enhance quality family life.
- Plan for individual and/or corporate prayer as a regular feature of service.
- Disciple new believers in the Christian life.
- Encourage the biblical and orderly ministry of spiritual gifts.
- Design opportunities for people of the same age group and/or interest group to get acquainted, develop friendships and deepen their fellowship in the Lord.
- Respond to the needy in our church as a means of care and counsel.
